Over the past year, we’ve been on a journey, not just to update how we look, but to understand how we show up.


Today, we’re proud to share the result:

A clearer, more confident Hull Flooring. Not a rebrand, but a re-focus. A strategy that reflects who we are, what we believe in, and what really matters to the people we work with.


Why now?

Hull Flooring has always taken pride in doing the job properly. No fuss, no ego, just high-quality flooring delivered with care and consistency. But in an industry that often treats floors as a commodity, we knew we had to do something different.


Because our clients don’t see their spaces as just another job. They care about what those spaces enable: learning, healing, community, connection. So why would we talk about flooring like it’s just a line on a spreadsheet?


We’ve leaned into what our clients value most, not just what we lay, but what we help make possible.


More than just a surface change

You’ll notice some visual updates: a refined colour palette, a softer approach to our graphics, and a website that’s easier to use and more reflective of who we are. But our logo remains, a symbol of continuity, not change for change’s sake.


What’s really new is the clarity behind it all. A defined strategy that brings together everything we stand for under four simple pillars:


  • Clients – We make flooring feel easy. We manage complexity and reduce stress, so projects run smoothly from start to finish.

  • Team – We invest in our people and back each other to do work we’re proud of.

  • Community – We’re working on a new way to give back through every project, exploring partnerships that support wellbeing and community impact. It’s an exciting part of our journey, and we look forward to sharing more soon.

  • Craft – We do things properly. That means care, detail, and pride in every square metre.


Together, we call this The Hull Flooring Way.


A new way of showing up

This is about aligning what we do with what we believe. It’s about speaking to what really matters, not just in materials, but in meaning.


Because when you walk into a school, a hospital, a care home or a public space, the floor isn’t just there to be walked on. It helps set the tone. It shapes the experience. It supports everything else that happens there.

A word from our Managing Director, Sean Dawson:

“I’ll be honest... I was sceptical at first. We’d never invested in anything like this before, and I didn’t know what the outcome would be or how it would shape Hull Flooring. But what I did know is that the world is changing, and we needed to start talking about the great work we do.
With no experience of a process like this, recommendations were key, and we found a creative partner who’s held our hand from day one. It’s been a journey of trust, reflection, and growth. It’s scary and it’s new, but it’s exciting to see this new direction come to life, and to show the world what Hull Flooring is really about.”

What’s next?

This launch is just the start. We’ve got more exciting developments on the way, new ways of working, new ways of giving back, and new ways of showing what we’re all about.
