Office flooring nearly always comes down to the same short list of materials: carpet tile, a harder finish for the busy routes, safety vinyl where water's involved. What changes from job to job is the business behind the floor. Hull Flooring looks at two recent head office projects, a smaller, creatively zoned refit for Boluda Towage and a larger, wellbeing-led fit-out for Beal Homes, to show how the same materials get shaped around very different businesses

When Boluda Towage's regional head office in Hessle was refurbished, we replaced the floors across both storeys, 520 square metres of carpet tile, LVT and safety vinyl. The design ran on curves rather than a straight grid, so our fitters set the lines out by hand with pegs and string before cutting a tile. We worked a floor at a time so the rest of the fit-out could keep moving.

Hull Flooring upgraded the hospitality experience at MKM Stadium’s Circle Restaurant, replacing carpet with modern herringbone LVT. Delivered in just one week during a planned shutdown, the result is a durable, easy-to-maintain finish ready for matchdays, private events, and everything in between.

Delivered in partnership with Chameleon Business Interiors, the project focused on sustainability, quality, and comfort — supporting both employee wellbeing and the customer experience in Beal’s new Design Lounge.
